I took my daughter and friend here for dinner. I loooove good authentic Mexican food and have had a hard time finding a good place. This place is a tiny location but a diamond in the rough!!!! The guacamole wasn't great, but everything else was Amazing!!!!!!!! The meat was so flavorful nothing was over seasoned. My daughter had tacos, I had their famous sandwich (best thing I've eaten everrrrr), and my friend had steak tacos. I wish I could've washed it down w a margarita, but no alcohol here. The food had amazing flavors and everything was so delicious. I grew up in California and very picky with authentic food and I was soooo glad I tried this place and will definitely be a new spot! Also, the owner (I believe) was so friendly and talkative and made me feel so welcome. Love this place!
Excellente! Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised! It's a small Place that you'd probably miss unless you were looking for it but the food was fantastic! I had the Pambazo which I hadn't heard of before. It is what I would call a stuffed Mexican sub. Excellent flavor! Glad I stopped. Will definitely stop again. Thanks!
If you prefer Tex-Mex that includes free tips and salsa to start, a big margarita and a chimichanga with rice and beans, this isn't the place for you. But if you want the real deal, this is it. A tiny place, maybe 4-5 tables. The menu promises "food made with heart," and it is. Two of us split a $17.95 sampler platter, washed down with Mexican coke (yes!) and couldn't come close to finishing it. Everything was fresh (no cans of Old El Paso here), the salsa verde was flavorful, and the service was warm and friendly. Wanted to try dessert, but there was no way we had room. We don't love anywhere close, but if I'm ever in the area again I know where I'll be eating.
Authentic food. Amazing prices. Helpful staff. Can not get enough of he traditional quesadilla and the sopes. Next time I want to try the traditional sandwiches.
Food has always been excellent and don't expect fancy tables but down home cooking. Just be careful the house salsa is spicy!
